GOMEL, 27 February (BelTA) - Gomeltransneft Druzhba is preparing to start importing oil from Ukraine via the Odessa-Brody pipeline, BelTA learned from the company.
According to specialists, Belarus' oil pipeline system is ready for transit of hydrocarbons from the Ukrainian side. Transporting Azerbaijani oil via the Odessa-Brody pipeline to Mozyr Oil Refinery is the idea.
BelTA reported earlier that the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim has arranged the delivery of 160,000 tonnes of oil from the Azerbaijani company SOCAR. The crude oil is supposed to be imported to Belarus in March via the Odessa-Brody pipeline.
