Belarus, Poland sign agreement on cooperation on Polish Aid program

MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Poland have signed an agreement on cooperation on the Polish Aid program, BelTA has learned.

The document was signed by the Humanitarian Activities Department of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate and the Polish embassy in Belarus. The document provides for stepping up Belarus-Poland cooperation in the near future.

During the ceremony UN Resident Coordinator in Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki noted that Belarus-Poland cooperation is of great importance for reaching the Sustainable Development Goals. She also pointed out that Belarus ranks 23rd in the Global Sustainable Development Index.

Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki stressed that although Belarus demonstrates good indicators in various social spheres, international technical aid is also important, including aid from the European Union.
