MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian oil industry concern Belneftekhim intends to draw up a development strategy for Belarus' pertochemical industry till 2030, BelTA learned from the press service of Belneftekhim.
“In recent months, Belneftekhim has been working on a development strategy for the petrochemical industry for the period till 2030. The concern and its organizations intend to work out a plan on the most efficient way of their development for the next ten years and start implementing it by the year end,” the press service noted.
A working group has been set up to draw up the strategy. It includes specialists of Belneftekhim and the companies affiliated with it, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences, Belarusian State Technological University, and Polotsk State University. Ernst & Young has been invited to explore the markets for petroleum products and petrochemicals.
The working group will analyze and choose the most appropriate technological schemes of development of Belneftekhim companies that work in the petrochemical industry and determine the necessary amount and sources of financing to implement investment projects, the press service added.More about Economy
