Belarus, Moldova intend to bolster ties in agriculture

CHISINAU, 23 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Moldova intend to expand cooperation in agriculture and implement new projects in the agricultural sector. These matters were high on the agenda of a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Moldova Sergei Chichuk and Moldova's Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Vasile Bitca, BelTA has learned.

The parties discussed topical issues of Belarus-Moldova interaction in agriculture, interregional cooperation and environmental protection, the Belarusian Embassy in Chisinau informed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of promising joint projects in animal husbandry and dairy production, crop production, food industry, modernization of road infrastructure and environmental protection. The issues regarding the supply of Belarusian agricultural and utility vehicles were also on the agenda.
