Belarus, Moldova discuss trade, economic contacts

MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Moldova Anatoly Kalinin met with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Ruslan Bolbocean at Moldova's foreign ministry, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Moldova.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic relations, and exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda.

The embassy drew attention to the progressive development of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova. The year 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During this period, more than 90 international treaties and other international documents regulating legal aspects of relations in various fields have been signed by the states.
