Belarus might sell mink fur to China

MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – A possibility to sell Belarus' mink fur to China was discussed at a meeting in the city of Haining in China's Zhejiang Province, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian General Consulate in Shanghai.

This city has China's biggest market of leather and fur products. Belarus' Consul General to Shanghai Valery Matsel and Consul Maxim Iosko visited Haining and met with heads of Chinese companies, like Zhejiang Singner Leather Fashion, Hongda, Furmax. The meeting was coupled with a presentation of Belarus' fur industry. The Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies (Belkoopsoyuz) had drafted a commercial offer on mink fur that was conveyed to the Chinese side during the presentation.

Valery Matsel met with representatives of the Haining association of leather producers to discuss establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarusian mink fur manufacturers. They also discussed a possibility to arrange a visit of local leather and fur producers to Belarus.
