
MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) - Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Borisevich has paid a visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, BelTA learned from the Belarusian marketing center.
Hong Kong is a trade and logistics hub both for trade with China and other Asian countries. The economic model of Hong Kong is based on the wise principle of “one state - two systems” and has proven its effectiveness. At the same time, the region has its own peculiarities in terms of doing business and requires understanding the specifics of working there.
In order to create conditions to assist Belarusian companies in expanding cooperation with Hong Kong, including through participation in exhibitions, and to facilitate access to its market, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study established cooperation with China Hong Kong International Business Association, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a major organizer of exhibitions and business events Comasia.
A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
