
MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) - Belarus and Iran discussed the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of telecommunications and ICT, BelTA learned from the Communications and Informatization Ministry.
Belarusian First Deputy Communications and Informatization Minister Pavel Tkach met with Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, and a business delegation of Iran. The parties discussed the prospects for establishing and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarusian and Iranian enterprises and organizations in the field of telecommunications, information and communication technologies. Representatives of the Iranian business community spoke about the successful ICT projects, in particular the production of telecommunications equipment.
The meeting was held in a constructive manner. The parties reached agreements to explore the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of telecommunications and ICT, the ministry informed.
