Belarus, Hungary intend to cooperate in competition policy

MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) - Belarus' Ministry of Antitrust Regulation and Trade (MART) and the Hungarian Competition Authority plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of competition policy, BelTA learned from the press service of the MART.

On 29 July, Belarus' Minister of Antitrust Regulation and Trade Vladimir Koltovich held a videoconference meeting with head of the Hungarian Competition Authority Balazs Rigo. Belarusian Ambassador to Hungary Aleksandr Ponomarev and Hungarian Ambassador to Belarus Zsolt Chutora also participated in the meeting. The parties discussed topical issues of the inter-agency cooperation.

The heads of the departments coordinated the final version of the memorandum on cooperation in the field of competition policy between the MART and the Hungarian Competition Authority. The decision was made to sign the document during one of high-level international events.
