Belarus' government updates list of officials in charge of export matters

MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – The government has updated the list of officials who will be responsible for increasing and diversifying exports of goods and services to specific countries. The update is envisaged by Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 787 from 3 November 2018 that was posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on 7 November, BelTA has learned.

Prime Minister Sergei Rumas will oversee exports to Russia; First Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Turchin will be in charge of exports to Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kukharev will be responsible for cooperation with Brazil, Ghana, Nigeria, and Lithuania. Vice Premier Igor Petrishenko will oversee exports to Spain, France, and Italy. Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko will be in charge of trade with Venezuela, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Ecuador.

The list of persons in charge of export matters features top-ranking officials, members of the Council of Ministers, heads of state-run agencies reporting to the government and other officials.
