MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian government endorsed a new provision on interaction between government bodies and other organizations in the preparation of documents for the export of oil products from the Russian Federation. The decision is laid down in Resolution No.471 of 18 July 2019 of the Council of Ministers that was published at the national legal internet portal on 19 July, BelTA has learned.
In accordance with the intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and the Russian Federation on measures to regulate trade and economic cooperation in the export of oil and oil products, the provision determines the procedure of interaction between government bodies and other organizations in the preparation of indicative balances of production, consumption, supply, import and export of oil products, a protocol for the coordination of the export of goods from the Russian Federation to Belarus. The new provision also envisages interaction in the preparation of a list of business entities - recipients of these goods in Belarus.
Business entities shall submit applications for Russian oil products in accordance with the procedure established by the government.
The resolution comes into effect after its official publication and is valid through 31 December 2024.
