Belarus' Gomselmash to take part in agrarian forum in Uzbekistan

GOMEL, 21 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian manufacturer of agricultural machines Gomselmash will showcase its potential at the Belarus-Uzbekistan agrarian forum which is due to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 25-26 February, BelTA learned from the company.

The Belarusian delegation will comprise representatives of the company. “Despite the main focus of the agrarian forum on the food industry, equipment producers will also be invited to display their products. Gomselmash will do it through promotional information and a video film,” the company said.

The Belarusian company also develops cooperation with partners from Uzbekistan. Deputy Director of the Sales and Service Center, Head of the Sales Department (Central Asia and Transcaucasia) Vitaly Reshko said that Gomselmash and the Tashkent Agricultural Machinery Plant signed an agreement in autumn 2019. The document provides for the setting up of an plant to assemble harvesters in the capital of Uzbekistan. “We are set to ship the first machine sets K-G-6 and KDP-3000 in March,” Vitaly Reshko said.

The Belarusian holding company Gomselmash is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines. It is one of the leaders on the world market of harvesters and other sophisticated agricultural machines. The company uses the Palesse trademark to market lineups of grain and forage harvesters, ear corn harvesters, potato harvesters, mowers, and other agricultural machines. Palesse harvesters are used in fields of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, Baltic states, and other countries.
