GOMEL, 14 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian manufacturer of agricultural machines Gomselmash posted a 59% year-on-year growth in its exports in January-April 2020, BelTA learned from the company.
“Despite the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company secured a 59% increase in its exports in January-April 2020,” the company said. The major export destinations were Russia, Kazakhstan, the CIS and non-CIS states.
The production plan for May-July includes 300 more self-driving energy-saturated vehicles. “The order portfolio for the majority of goods that will be made in line with the updated plan has already been compiled,” the company stressed.
“The company has doubled its production capacity to produce a variety of grain harvesters, such as KZS-812, KZS-10K with a cylindric threshing system and KZS-1218, the most popular harvester in Belarus and abroad. The production lineup also includes powerful forage harvesters KVK-800 and KVK-8060 fitted with engines from different manufacturers,” the company said.
A number of material incentives has been envisaged for harvester makers working long hours.

The company uses the Palesse trademark to market the lineups of grain and forage harvesters, ear corn harvesters, potato harvesters, mowers, and other agricultural machines. Palesse harvesters are used in fields of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, China, South Korea, and Baltic states.
