
MOSCOW, 11 April (BelTA) – Belarus posted a growth in trade with 68 subjects of the Russian Federation in January-February 2023, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said during a video conference with the heads of the embassy's offices in the Russian regions on 11 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
The video conference summed up the results of the work of the embassy's offices in the first quarter of 2023. "Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi outlined the key areas for the development of cooperation between Belarus and Russian regions: visits of regional governors to Belarus; visits of the Belarusian prime minister to the Russian regions; development and expansion of the commodity distribution networks of Belarusian enterprises in the Russian regions; intensification of contacts with the regions; coordination of the work of officials in charge; intensification of the work of the Belarusian Industry Ministry in Russian regions; preparation of meetings between the Belarusian ambassador and senior officials of the Russian regions at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum; development of logistics and port infrastructure," the press service said.
