Belarus' exports of goods, services up 16% in January-November 2018

MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – In January-November 2018 Belarus' export of goods and services went up by 16% year-on-year to $38.2 billion, BelTA learned from the statistical data published on the website of the National Bank.

The foreign trade in goods and services made up $75.7 billion, up 15.7% from January-November 2017. The export totaled $38.2 billion (up 16%), the import exceeded $37.4 billion (up 15.3%). Belarus had a surplus of $782.6 million ($483.3 million in January-November 2017).

The foreign trade in goods soared 16.3% to $63 billion. The export of goods went up by 17.1% to $30.3 billion, the import rose by 15.6% to $32.6 billion. The trade deficit made up $2.3 billion ($2.3 billion in January-November 2017).

In January-November 2018 the foreign trade in services reached $12.79 billion, up 12.5% year-on-year. The export of services totaled $7.9 billion (up 12%), the import - $4.8 billion (up 13.3%). The trade surplus was at the level of $3 billion ($2.8 billion in January-November 2017).
