Belarus' export of oil products 17.3% down in January-April

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – In January-April 2019 the export of oil products from Belarus dropped by 17.3% to 3.8 million tonnes, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.

Export dropped by 18.6% from January-April 2018 to $1.8 billion in monetary terms.

In January-April Belarus' export of oil shrank by 9% to 488,000 tonnes. In monetary terms oil export went down by 11.4% to $222.7 million. All the oil was exported to Germany.

In January-April oil import was close to 6 million tonnes, 0.5% down from the same period of last year. Import of oil products amounted to 73,600 tonnes, down from 1.5 million tonnes in January-April 2018.
