Belarus' Development Bank to allocate Br943m for government programs, projects in 2019

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – A plan for the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) to finance government programs and projects in 2019 has been approved by the Council of Ministers' resolution No.108 of 21 February 2019, BelTA has learned.

The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will have to allocate a total of Br943.07 million to finance government programs and projects in 2019.

In particular, as much as Br574.44 million will be channeled into directed lending. As much as Br368.63 million will be appropriated for non-directed lending to finance the construction of facilities ahead of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019, the construction and development of transport infrastructure (in the Minsk National Airport, the construction of roads, and the expansion of the Minsk metro system) as well as engineering infrastructure.
