“Trade and economic relations between Belarus and Cuba are making quite good progress. We export dairy products to Cuba, while Cuban products are also in great demand on our market. Today, the Agriculture and Food Ministry is holding talks with Minister of Food Industry of the Republic of Cuba Manuel Santiago Sobrino Martínez. Top on the agenda is the delivery of Belarusian products, mainly powdered dairy products and canned meat. Cooperation in science and education will also be discussed,” said Ksenia Meleshko.

According to her, Belarus' expertise and knowledge in the food industry is also of interest to Cuba. In this regard, the Cuban delegation will visit Belarusian processing enterprises, in particular, poultry and dairy companies. A presentation of Belarus' products and capacities will be held. The program of the visit also includes negotiations at the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
