Belarus, China sign beet pulp quarantine requirements protocol

MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – Belarus and China have signed a protocol on quarantine requirements for Belarus' beet pulp export to China. The document was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy and Vice Minister of China's General Administration of Customs Wang Lingjun, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Beijing.

The protocol was prepared by the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry in cooperation with the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom and the association of sugar manufacturers Belsugar with support of the embassy.

The parties also agreed to carry out an on-site inspection by Chinese specialists in September to certify Belarusian enterprises to export beet pulp to China.
