Belarus building third school, fourth kindergarten in Russia's Kaluga Oblast

MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Belarus is building the third school and the fourth kindergarten in Russia's Kaluga Oblast, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Architecture and Construction Ministry.

A Belarusian delegation led by Architecture and Construction Minister Ruslan Parkhamovich visited Medyn District. The city of Medyn hosted an official ceremony to lay a commemorative capsule to celebrate the start of the construction of a new school for 1,000 students. The Belarusian company Belstroitsentr acts as a contractor at the site.

“Kaluga Oblast has created great conditions for Belarusian builders. All issues are addressed in a quick and effective manner. We have had almost no problems during the construction works here. This is why we are happy to build facilities here and do a good job for the sake of children. Russians are our brotherly nation and we should bring our children up together,” Ruslan Parkhamovich noted.

The construction of a modern school with two swimming pools and a children's film studio in Medyn will be finished by the end of 2021. It will become the third school constructed by Belarusian builders. Plans are in place to commission several other secondary education institutions in the region by 2025. In addition, Belarusian builders are constructing the fourth kindergarten in Kaluga Oblast with four more to be built by 2025.
