MINSK, 31 December (BelTA) – The deficit of the central state budget of Belarus amounted to Br0.6 billion in January-November 2020, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Finance Ministry.
The revenues totaled Br21.5billion, or 84% of the revised annual target. Proceeds from value added tax came at Br11.7 billion (94.2% of the target), income tax – Br2.3 billion (60.1%), excise duties – Br2.8 billion (86.4%). Revenues from foreign trade operations totaled Br3.6 billion (75.4%).
The central state budget spent Br22.1 billion, or 78.8% of the revised annual target. As much as Br10.3 billion (77.7%) was spent on nationwide activities, Br4.7 billion (79.5%) on financing the national economy, Br15.9 billion (86.1%) on financing the social sphere (social policy, education, healthcare, physical training, sport, culture, and mass media).
The deficit of the public administration sector budget totaled Br0.6 billion in January-November 2020. Revenues made up Br47.4 billion, or 88.9% of the revised annual target. Expenses stood at Br48 billion, or 84.9%.
The surplus of the Social Security Fund budget reached Br0.2 billion.
As of 1 December 2020, the arrears on tax and duty payments stood at Br157.1 million.
