BAKU, 27 December (BelTA – Azertac) - Belarus-Azerbaijan trade totaled $400 million in January-October 2018 and is projected to increase to $450-500 million by the end of the year, Belarus Ambassador to Azerbaijan Gennady Akhramovich told a press conference to sum up the results of Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation in 2018.
“Our economies are complementary. Belarus' major exports to Azerbaijan are food products and pharmaceuticals. We import petrochemicals and vegetables,” Gennady Akhramovich noted.
Thanks to mutual efforts Belarus and Azerbaijan have reached great successes in the development of cooperation. The diplomat highlighted the high potential of Belarus-Azerbaijan relations and expressed the confidence that they will continue to gain momentum.
