Belarus attends plenary session of BSEC PA General Assembly in Belgrade

MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) - Trade, economic, financial and humanitarian cooperation between the member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation is high on the agenda of the plenary session of the General Assembly of the BSEC PA in Belgrade on 7-8 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Council of the Republic.

The events are attended by Tatiana Runets, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Economy, Budget and Finance of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the National Assembly delegation to the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly, member of the Budget, Taxes and Financial Market Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

In 2022, the National Assembly of Serbia chairs the BSEC PA, and Belgrade hosts meetings of the 60th General Assembly.

Vladimir Orlic, President of the National Assembly of Serbia and Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister for and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Serbia, addressed the opening ceremony of the 60th plenary session of the General Assembly.

The head of the Serbian delegation to the BSEC PA Igor Becic read out a message of greetings from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The agenda of the plenary session includes 13 items covering the entire spectrum of trade, economic, financial and humanitarian cooperation of the BSEC member states .
