Belarus' agricultural exports up 12 times over 26 years

MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – Belarus' agricultural exports have increased 12 times over 26 years, Belarus' Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo said at the plenary session of the business forum at the 26th international wholesale exhibition Prodexpo, BelTA has learned.

“The food and processing industry is one of the most advanced sectors of the Belarusian economy. "It is expected that by the end of the year the production in the agricultural sector will expand by more than 5.5%. the output is expected to total $10 billion, and exports to reach $5.8 billion (an increase of 6% over 2019)," he said.
