Another Belarusian company cleared by Russian food quality watchdog

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) - Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted the restrictions on the cheese made by the Luban branch of the Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian agency.

Rosselkhoznadzor said it made the decision after perusing materials sent by the Belarusian side, taking into account the measures taken to address the violations and in view of the guarantees issued by the Veterinary and Food Oversight Department of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Eligible for the import to Russia are products made as from 8 October. The products shall be accompanied by digital veterinary certificates.
