Agreement reached on Russian loan for Minsk in 2019

MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia agreed on the allocation of a Russian government loan to Minsk in 2019, Belarus' Finance Minister Maksim Yermolovich told the media on 12 November, BelTA has learned.

The minister said that all the decisions had been taken. “The parties are yet to draw up an agreement. This will be done next year. No new decisions are expected from both the sides,” he said.

According to First Vice Premier, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, the loan will be provided to refinance the $630 million loan allocated to Belarus earlier.
