NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The Consulate General of Belarus in Shanghai has taken part in the ceremony meant to present the national pavilion and specialized pavilions of the Belarusian exposition during Asia's largest annual food products expo SIAL China in Shanghai, representatives of the Belarusian diplomatic mission told BelTA.
SIAL China has already become the largest exhibition event in China as far as the scale of Belarus' participation and the product choice on display are concerned. Nearly 200 representatives of Belarusian food exporters have come to Shanghai. They represent companies that successfully operate on the Chinese market and companies, which are about to start shipping products to the People's Republic of China.
In his welcome address Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev mentioned the importance of such massive participation in the ongoing expo.
The diplomat stressed: “Chinese importers know Belarus as a manufacturer of quality and organic products. The strong demand for our products stems from the reliability of Belarusian producers, which is backed by agreements at the top level.”
