ASE Planetary Congress in Minsk

The Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers is an annual event which gathers cosmonauts, scientists and representatives of national space agencies. In 2018 the forum is hosted by Belarus. About 90 astronauts and cosmonauts from 17 countries are expected to meet at the Minsk forum on 9-15 September.

Belarus is set to take part in international Moon exploration projects, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik told the media at the 31st planetary congress of the Association of Space Explorers in Minsk on 10 September.

The present was given to the head of state by Belarusian space pilot, two-time Hero of the Soviet Union Piotr Klimuk.
