Belarus was voted to host the Second European Games in 2019 at the 45th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees in Minsk in October 2016.

Russia's State Duma to ratify agreement on visa-free entry for Minsk European Games fans

The agreement was signed in Minsk on 29 May 2018. The document regulates the entry of foreign nationals and stateless persons traveling to attend international sporting events, including the forthcoming 2nd European Games. The document was temporary applied during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Themed trains in Minsk Metro during 2nd European Games

During the 2nd European Games the trains will run at shorter intervals, while the metro will work longer hours. If the passenger flow increases significantly, the Minsk Metro will deploy a reserve rolling stock.

Lesik's profile will be available in Viber, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger thanks to the developers from the Belarusian company Synesis, a resident company of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park.
Minsk European Games official mobile application launched

The application runs on Android and iOS and is in no way inferior to the mobile version of the European Games site. Its main feature is that basic information about the Games and the infrastructure will be available to users even without Internet connection.

Student Village in Minsk to get dedicated transport terminal for 2nd European Games

The main transport corridors have been chosen for the sake of delivering participants of the games to sport venues within 30 minutes. Traffic plans have been developed to prioritize public transport and pedestrian traffic.

Minsk to open tourist infopoints for 2nd European Games

Infopoints will be deployed near sports facilities, hotels, fan zones, Minsk National Airport, central bus station and railway station, Students' Village, and along the main tourist routes such as Svobody Square and Nezavisimosti Square.

Belarus to bring international sponsors to 2nd European Games

In line with the contract [with the European Olympic Committees] we were supposed to bring major international sponsors, however we have not made much progress here yet, Sergei Rumas said.
