Drones are also forbidden in fan zones and near hotels and other places meant to accommodate guests and participants of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019. Drones used by government agencies and drones officially used in the course of the games are an exception.
The document is based on the best domestic and foreign practices of organizing and holding big international sports events. The document is aimed at ramping up security at sports arenas, hotels and other European Games infrastructure facilities, Minsk roads.

“There has been a lot of work done in Minsk so that we reach the second edition of the European Games, and I am sure that the Games will be a big success,” Chairman of the Coordination Commission of the European Olympic Committees for Minsk 2019 Spyros Capralos said.
