MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – HC Yunost Minsk produced a stunning opening 40 minutes to avenge last week's 1-4 defeat in Malmo with a 6-2 win over the Redhawks at the Champions Hockey League in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Eduard Grin, Egor Gainetdinov, Mikhail Stefanovich, Alexander Kogalev (twice) and Alexander Kulakov scored for the winning side.
In Group D Neman Grodno lost 2-6 to Kometa Brno.
Yunost Minsk will next play Red Bull Munich. Neman Grodno will take on EV Zug.
