MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Leader of the Austrian national team, world number six Dominic Thiem will play in the Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I tie against Belarus in St Polten, BelTA informs.
Dominic Thiem was included to the Austrian team for the tie on 1 February. Dominic Thiem will take on Dzmitry Zhyrmont (World No.389) in the second rubber on 2 February. The first rubber will feature Ilya Ivashka (190) and Gerald Melzer (98).
On Saturday, 3 February, Andrei Vasilevski and Sergey Betov will face Oliver Marach and Philipp Oswald. Two more singles rubbers will feature Dominic Thiem against Ilya Ivashka and Dzmitry Zhyrmont vs Gerald Melzer.
