MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – Author and host of TV show Women and Sport Anna Eismont has been awarded a diploma of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
In 2016 the Women and Sport Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus jointly with TV Channel Belarus 5 in cooperation with the IOC program Olympic Solidarity implemented the TV project Women and Sport. This is a set of television films that tell the stories of the prominent Belarusian female athletes: Marina Arzamasova, Aleksandra Gerasimenya, Elena Levchenko, Marina Litvinchuk, Olga Mazurenok, Mariya Mamoshuk and others.
Earlier, Anna Eismont's documentary Salei We Did not Know About received an award from the Belarusian Sports Press Association and an award of the International Sports Film Festival in the Sport and Personality nomination.
