MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – BC Tsmoki Minsk defeated BC Budivelnyk Kyiv in the opening game of Qualification Round 2 of the Basketball Champions League, BelTA has learned.
Trailing the majority of the game, the Dragons managed to take the lead in the fourth quarter and finally celebrate a 69-64 win. David Kravish led the team with 17 points.
The second leg match-up is scheduled for 26 September in the Ukrainian capital. The winner will then face France's Nanterre 92 for the Champions League group stage.
