MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – American sprinters showed their best in both men's and women's 400m events at the ongoing Match Europe v USA in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Wadeline Jonathas of the United States was victorious in the women's 400m (51.01). Second finished six-time Olympic champion Allyson Felix of the United States (51.36). Poland's Iga Baumgart-Witan came in third (51.52).
Michael Cherry of the United States clocked 45.13 seconds to claim victory in the men's 400m event. Second was his teammate Wil London (45.39). Italy's Davide Re finished third (46.05).
