MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) - Team Belarus uniforms at the 23rd Olympic Winter Games are functional and comfortable, the press service of Belarus' National Olympic Committee said, BelTA has learned.
Advanced solutions were used to ensure special functionality and high comfort level to make sure athletes feel comfortable wearing the uniforms in any weather, the NOC noted.
“The unique Belarusian traditions are the centerpiece of the outfit design. It depicts the legacy of the past, the historic traditions, the burst of energy into the future through the combination of red, black and white colors and the Belarusian flag ornament. The kits have been designed for opening, closing and medal ceremonies, practice sessions and leisure activities. Every kit consists of 26 items. The uniforms have been produced by Audimas. Special attention is given to engineering of each product as the Olympic clothing must meet high requirements,” the National Olympic committee said.
The Olympians will also receive a civilian parade outfit that ween produced by the LUDMILA LABKOVA design studio and Bellegprom Concern.
