Tatiana Drozdovskaya victorious at 2018 World Cup Series Final in Marseille

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - Tatiana Drozdovskaya of Belarus won the final race at the 2018 World Cup Series Final in Marseille, France, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Yachting Federation.

The final stage in France included 11 races. In the Laser Radial Tatiana Drozdovskaya qualified for the final race where she finished first. The Belarusian scored a total of 78 points to place fifth in the World Cup standings. The total score was won by Emma Plasschaert of Belgium (48). Second is Maria Erdi of Hungary (54).

The World Cup final in Marseille wrapped up the 2018 series which included three international regattas in Gamagori (Japan), Miami (United States), and Hyeres (France).

The final competitions were held in ten Olympic disciplines. Taking part in the competitions were over 212 athletes from 34 countries: Olympic medalists, world champion and leaders of the international rankings. 24 athletes competed in the Laser Radial event.
