Squash tournament in Minsk to draw athletes from 20 countries

MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) - Representatives from 20 countries will participate in the squash tournament in Minsk, BelTA learned from the organizers.

This is the first time that a PSA squash tournament will be held in Belarus. The event will bring together Europe's leading athletes. In addition, there are plans to hold ESF Juniors events.

Some 150 participants from 20 countries of Europe, Asia and Africa have already applied. Belarus will be represented by members of the national squash team Ilya Mikhalchuk, Vasily Dmitriev, Olga Khmelevskaya and Irina Kulbatskaya.

Squash enthusiasts can register before 31 January. “Those who have not yet tried their hand in this interesting and exciting sport will be able to see all games of the tournament. Entry is free,” the organizers said.
