MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – One of the leaders of the Belarusian biathlon team Nadezhda Skardino will take part in the Race of Champions and the competition for the prize of the Tyumen Oblast governor, BelTA learned from the Belarusian biathlon federation.
The competition which will take place at the Geolog stadium on 9-10 April will bring together the world's leading biathletes and famous skiers.
The organizers of the event said that the following athletes will take part in the competition:
Anton Shipulin, Evgeny Garanichev, Ivan Cherezov (Russia), Martin Fourcade, Simon Fourcade, Jean-Guillaume Beatrix (France), Ole Einar Bjorndalen, Petter Northug (Norway), Simon Schempp (Germany), Federico Pellegrino (Italy), Michal Slesingr (Czechia).
Anastasia Zagoruiko, Ekaterina Yurlova (Russia), Gabriela Soukalova (Czechia), Marie Dorin Habert, Anais Bescond (France), Dorothea Wierer, Karin Oberhofer (Italy), Tiril Eckhoff (Norway), Franziska Hildebrand (Germany), Nadezhda Skardino (Belarus), Justyna Kowalczyk (Poland), Stina Nilsson (Sweden), Kerttu Niskanen (Finland).
Two Belarusian biathletes, Darya Domracheva (won the mass start event) and Nadezhda Skardino took part in the Race of Champions in Tyumen last year.
