MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian Prime Minister issued executive order No.7R on 12 January 2017 to set up the organizing committee for the European Fencing Championships U23 in Minsk 2017. Relevant information has been posted on the official website of the Belarusian government, BelTA has learned.
Sport and Tourism Minister Alexander Shamko has been appointed chairman of the organizing committee. First Deputy Sport and Tourism Minister, Chairman of the Belarusian National Fencing Federation Alexander Gagiyev has been appointed his deputy. The organizing committee also includes representatives of the ministries and departments, the Minsk City Hall, the National Olympic Committee, thte National Anti-Doping Agency, Belteleradiocompany, the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, and the National Center of Olympic training Staiki.
The organizing committee shall draw up a plan of action. If necessary, it may involve specialists of the national government bodies and other state organizations subordinated to the government, the Minsk City Hall and other organizations.
