Second loss puts Dinamo Minsk 0-2 against Loko in KHL playoff round one

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – A disappointing start to the KHL postseason continued for HC Dinamo Minsk on 23 February as Lokomotiv rolled over the Bisons 7-2 to take a commanding 2-0 lead, BelTA has learned.

With two short-handed goals from Andrei Loktionov, Lokomotiv was 7-0 ahead at the start of the final stanza.

Staffan Kronwall, Artyom Ilyenko, Jakub Nakladal, Yegor Averin, and Dmitry Lugin all added to the home team's success in the first two periods.

Dinamo got a consolation goal from a power play through Dmitry Korobov, and Matt Ellison added a second for the visiting team.

In the first encounter Lokomotiv took a 2-1 win against the Bisons.

The following two games will take place at Minsk Arena on 25 and 27 February.
