MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Aleksandra Sasnovich of Belarus has moved one spot up to the 94th place in the new WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Fellow compatriot Arina Sobolenko climbed from the 121st to the 111th position, while Olga Govortsova went down to the 175th place. Victoria Azarenka is currently 203rd, with Vera Lapko at the 218th.
The top ten players, according to the current WTA rankings, are as follows:

Egor Gerasimov holds the highest position (124th) among Belarusian tennis players in the ATP rankings. Vladimir Ignatik is 160th. Max Mirnyi of Belarus holds the 55th position in the ATP doubles rankings.
