Sabalenka, Sasnovich improve their WTA standings

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – Belarusian tennis players Aryna Sabalenka and Aliaksandra Sasnovich improved their standings in the WTA rankings, BelTA informs.

Aryna Sabalenka climbed to 46th spot with the total of 1,135 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich placed 51st with 1,065 points. Vera Lapko is 84th (782 points). Victoria Azarenka goes 86th (771 points).

Simona Halep of Romania tops the WTA rankings, whose total points reached 7,970 after the victory in the Roland Garros in Paris. The best player in the post-Soviet space is Ukraine's Elina Svitolina, who is fifth in the WTA rankings.
