Russia wins ISU Junior Grand Prix in Minsk

MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – The Russian team topped the overall team standings at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

The competitions were held in four disciplines at Minsk Arena.

Russia won three gold, two silver and four bronze medals. The United States placed second with one gold and one silver medals. Third was Japan with one silver medal.

Belarus fielded nine athletes. Yakov Zenko of Belarus placed 12th in the men's individual event.

The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating wrapped up with an awards ceremony and a gala concert.
