Sport 17.02.2017 | 10:09

MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Fredrick Pettersson was the man to do all the job in HC Dinamo Minsk's shootout win over the visiting Neftekhimik in the KHL action on 16 February, BelTA has learned.

Fredrick Pettersson put the hosts ahead in the 18th minute and scored in the shootout for a 2-1 win.

Richard Gynge forced overtime with his last-minute tying goal and then scored in the shootout. His attempt, however, was not enough to keep Neftekhimik in contention for the top eight.

With 105 points after 59 games the Bisons go fifth in the Western Conference. The Belarusian team will play their final game in the KHL regular season against Ak Bars on 18 February.
