Olympics 2016: Tatyana Kholodovich 5th in women's javelin throwing

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Tatyana Kholodovich of Belarus finished 5th in the Olympic javelin throwing competition in Rio, BelTA has learned.

Tatyana Kholodolich threw her personal best 64.60m to place fourth. The Belarusian kept in the top three for a while, but the rivals managed to move her down.

Croatia's Sara Kolak won Olympic gold with her personal best 66.18m. Silver went to South Africa's Sunette Viljoen, who managed 64.92m. Barbora Spotakova of the Czech Republic had to settle for bronze after a best throw of 64.80m. Fourth place was occupied by Poland's Maria Andrejczyk (64.78m).
