Oleg Yevenko, Maksim Parfeyevets join HC Dinamo Minsk

MINSK, 2 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian ice hockey players, defender Oleg Yevenko and forward Maksim Parfeyevets, have signed with Dinamo Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the team.

Oleg Yevenko signed a one-year contract with the Minsk-based club. He previously played for the North American teams Fargo Force and UMass Minutemen in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). In the 2014/2015 season, he joined Adirondack Flames, an affiliate of the Calgary Flames. Then he signed with Cleveland Monsters affiliated with the Columbus Blue Jackets before returning to the Hockey Calgary system (Stockton Heat).

All in all, Oleg Yevenko made 130 appearances in the AHL and posted one goal and thirteen assists.

He regularly featured for the Belarusian team and appeared in four World Cups and Winter Games qualifying. He made 33 appearances for the national team.

Maksim Parfeyevets played for Dinamo Minsk junior squads in 2010-2013 and captained HC Dinamo Bobruisk. Then he joined Yunost where he claimed the Belarusian championship title, finished in second place four times and won the Continental Cup. Last season, the forward signed a tryout contract with Dinamo Minsk and played away against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and SKA St. Petersburg.
