Moscow CSKA extends contract for head coach Viktor Goncharenko

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – PFC Moscow CSKA has extended the contract for head coach Vitkor Goncharenko for two years, BelTA learned form the official website of the football club.

The new contract will expire by the end of the 2019/20 football season. Viktor Goncharenko took charge of PFC Moscow CSKA at the end of 2016. Under his management PFC Moscow CSKA finished the Russian Premier League runner-up for two seasons in a row and advanced to the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal.

Viktor Goncharenko has managed 56 games for the Red-Blues with 32 wins and 11 games tied. His winning percentage is 57.14%, which is one of the best in the club's history.

Viktor Goncharenko started his coaching career in FC Borisov BATE in 2004.
