MINSK, 24 January (BelTA) – Longstanding leader of the Belarusian national tennis team Max Mirnyi will not play in Belarus' Davis Cup first round tie against Austria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Tennis Federation.
Ilya Ivashka (World No.211 – singles; 597th - doubles), Dzmitry Zhyrmont (378th; 714th), Yaraslav Shyla (396th; 255th), Sergey Betov (1,079th; 255th), and Andrei Vasilevski (59th - doubles) have been included on Belarus' Davis Cup roster.
Gerald Melzer (102nd; 471st), Sebastian Ofner (144th; 1,068th), Dennis Novak (226th; 775th), Oliver Marach (17th - doubles), and Philipp Oswald (44th - doubles) will make up the Austrian team for the Davis Cup first round tie.
Belarus' Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I tie against Austria will take place in St Polten on 2-3 February.
