Mirnyi out of Shenzhen Open men's doubles

MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Austria's Philipp Oswald failed to reach the Shenzhen Open men's doubles final after losing to Alexander Peya of Austria and Rajeev Ram of the United States 4-6, 6-3, 3-10, BelTA has learned.

In Uzbekistan's Tashkent, Belarus Arina Sobolenko, ranked 119 in the world, also failed to reach the final, losing to Hungary's world number 52 Timea Babos 1-6, 4-6.

Arina Sobolenko will next travel to Beijing for China Open. The Belarusian will take on world number 79 Christina McHale of the United States in the first qualifying round.

Belarus' world number 102 Aleksandra Sasnovich has already advanced into the second qualifying round of China Open, seeing off Russian world number 378 Alla Kudryavtseva 6-3, 6-0. The Belarusian will next face world number 76 Varvara Lepchenko of the United States.
